This may be your first home, you could be new to the area, feel lonely or you may need advice on schools or facilities in the area. The best people to talk to can often be your neighbours! If we know a contact for your area we will gladly ask them to contact you.
On accepting your property you will have been given a tenancy agreement, this is a legal document and although the Council have written it as clearly as possible and Council staff will explain important points to you, there is a lot to take in, so if you would like more advice on your tenancy agreement we will be happy to help.
Through our work with the Council, we can often advise you about the best person to contact if you have a problem or feel that you are being unfairly treated. We can also pass your views on the Council back to Officers and Councillors through the various meetings we attend. We can also take up issues that have not been resolved by the Council.
